This is a tribute mask to my mask making mentor,

A few years ago, when I was looking around for some ideas for a Halloween mask, I stumbled upon Andrea's Okami Kitsune mask and I was blown away by her craftsmanship and just could not believe that you could make something like that from leather. So as a thank you, I decided to come back to my first memory of leather masks and made my own interpretation of Amaterasu from Okami!

This is made from 8oz tooling leather, is hand cut and formed and then painted with soft-bodied acrylics.
